Beginner Walkthrough
This beginner walkthrough covers the first 30 minutes of your Secrets Tycoon experience. We will walk you through the initial tycoon setup, help you discover your first five secrets, and teach you the income strategies that form the foundation for all future progress. Whether you are completely new to Roblox tycoons or an experienced player trying Secrets Tycoon for the first time, this guide ensures you start on the right foot and avoid the most common beginner mistakes.
First 5 Minutes: Spawn Exploration
When you spawn into Secrets Tycoon, resist the urge to immediately start building. The spawn area contains at least three secrets that are essential for your early progress. Walk around the entire spawn zone, examining every object and corner. Look for the rock near the entrance (click it for the Rock secret), the path markers (explore each one for First Steps), and the stair structure (jump on it for Jumper).
These first three secrets are deliberately easy -- they are designed to teach you the core mechanic of secret discovery: look at everything, interact with everything, and question everything that seems out of place.
Minutes 5-15: Tycoon Setup
With your first three secrets discovered, you now have three unlocked structures generating income. Place these structures on your tycoon production line in order of income efficiency. The Rock structure should be your first placement, followed by the Spawn Paths and Spawn Stairs structures. Arrange them so that cash flows smoothly from production to collection.
During this phase, you should also look for the fourth and fifth secrets. The Gullible secret (chat command) and Puzzler secret (puzzle room) are both accessible from the spawn area and require minimal tycoon investment to discover.
Minutes 15-30: Income Optimization
By the 15-minute mark, you should have a stable income of at least $1,000 per minute. Use this income to upgrade your existing stations and purchase additional ones. Focus on the Rock Upgrader, Tree Upgrader, and Noob Upgrader chains, as these provide the best return on investment during the early game.
As your income grows, new areas of the map will become accessible. These areas contain harder secrets but also offer better structures. Balance your time between building and exploring -- spend 60% of your time on tycoon upgrades and 40% on secret hunting during these early minutes.
