Welcome to Secrets Tycoon! This beginner walkthrough covers everything you need to know for your first playthrough. From the moment you spawn into the game, you will encounter a unique blend of tycoon-building mechanics and secret-hunting exploration. Unlike traditional tycoons that focus solely on automation and income, Secrets Tycoon rewards curiosity and attention to detail. This guide walks you through your first 30 minutes in the game, helping you establish a solid tycoon foundation while discovering your first secrets.
Minute 1-5: First Impressions
When you first spawn into Secrets Tycoon, you will find yourself in a dome-shaped area with a basic tycoon setup already in progress. The spawn area contains several interesting objects -- a prominent rock, a noob NPC, various decorative items, and a few hidden corners. Your first priority is to explore this spawn area thoroughly before rushing into tycoon building.
Look around carefully. The spawn area contains at least 3 secrets: Rock (click the rock), First Steps (explore the spawn paths), and Jumper (interact with the spawn stairs). Taking these first few minutes to find these secrets will give you a head start on your tycoon income.
Minute 5-15: Building Your Tycoon
With your first secrets discovered, it is time to focus on tycoon construction. The core loop of Secrets Tycoon involves placing upgraders on production lines, collecting the generated cash, and reinvesting to build more stations. Start by upgrading the Rock station you unlocked, then add additional stations as your income allows.
Pay attention to the money generation rate of each station. Some stations produce more cash per second than others, so prioritize upgrades that give you the best return on investment. Your goal is to reach a stable income that allows you to explore the wider map without falling behind financially.
Minute 15-30: Exploring Beyond Spawn
Once your tycoon is generating decent income, expand your exploration beyond the spawn area. The wider map contains additional secrets hidden in less obvious locations. Look for unusual structures, hidden doors, and areas that seem out of place. The hidden areas guide covers these in detail.
