Secret Index Guide
The Secret Index is your most powerful tool for tracking progress in Secrets Tycoon. Located on the left side of your screen as a book icon with a pink-blue gradient star background, the Index provides a comprehensive overview of all discoverable secrets, their difficulty ratings, linked structures, and your personal discovery history. Understanding how to use the Index effectively is essential for completing the game and finding every secret.
How to Access the Secret Index
- 1 Look for the book icon button on the left side of your screen during gameplay.
- 2 Click the button to open the Index frame, which displays all obtainable secrets in a scrollable list.
- 3 Each secret entry shows its icon, name, difficulty rating, and whether you have discovered it.
- 4 Click on any individual secret to view detailed information including description, solution, obtained date, total victors, and linked structure.
Using Hints
For secrets numbered 1-800, the Index includes a Hint button next to each unsolved secret. These hints provide progressively more detailed guidance as you click through them. Start with the briefest hint and work your way up if you need more help. This system is designed to let you solve secrets on your own terms without giving away the complete solution immediately.
Hint Levels
- Level 1: A cryptic clue that points you in the right general direction.
- Level 2: More specific guidance, often referencing a particular area or mechanic.
- Level 3: Detailed instructions that reveal the core concept of the secret without giving the exact solution.
Linked Structures
Every secret is associated with a linked structure that unlocks in your tycoon when you discover the secret. The Index includes a VIEW button next to each linked structure, allowing you to see the structure if it exists in your current dimension. Understanding the relationship between secrets and their structures helps you prioritize which secrets to pursue based on the income potential of their linked buildings.
